“Rose has been wowing audiences with her powerhouse vocals and a tight backing band featuring some of Nashville’s finest musicians. One listen and you’ll know why she names Wanda Jackson and Ruth Brown as two of her biggest musical influences. And why Jane Rose & The Deadend Boys is one of the most beloved live bands performing on the rockabilly festival and hotrod car show circuit. Rose (affectionately known as “The Boss Lady”) continues to dish up her unique blend of powerhouse rockabilly and rhythm and blues with a side dish of toe-tapping sass and attitude.”

Jane Rose has been impossible to ignore since she came on the scene with her band The Deadend Boys over a decade ago. Across three albums, including the latest ‘Over It‘, The Nashville guitarist/vocalist puts her stamp on streetwise razor-edged rockabilly and blues, a throwback to the days when Carl Perkins and Janis Martin were roaming the charts.
From her formidable voice to the swinging rhythms to the reverb-soaked guitar, Jane Rose and The Deadend Boys boast all the right chops. ‘Over It‘ is a great rock and roll record both rooted in the past, particularly traditional rock and roll, as well as the early punk spirit of the Ramones and Cramps. You’ll set fire to the dancefloor with ravers like ‘Long Gone‘, ‘Makes Me Wanna Sin‘, and ‘Fucked Up‘ or be drawn in with the velvet touch of ‘Best of Me‘ and ‘Fool‘.

“I first met Jane Rose in St. Louis, Mo. where she tore it up with the Bible Belt Sinners. When she moved away I knew I hadn’t heard the last of her. Now with a new combo, the Deadend Boys, Jane is still ripping up the rockabilly scene and this time she’s not putting up with any crap. Moonshine, Murder and Poultricide. Watch out fellas, She’s on a rampage with powerful songs like Death Becomes Him and Wrong Kind of Guy, she lets you know shes a kitten with claws. She’s got her eye on you and she’s gonna be treated right. The Deadend boys sound as if the name is mere irony, the road is endless for these talented musicians. Lee, Clay, JD, Nick and Noah are powering this hot rod driven by Jane. Fueled by moonshine they’re on a murderous rampage to success and keep your chickens in check. Poultricide is no joke.
